Little Stranger
Little Stranger
Little Stranger is an alternative/hip-hop duo born in Philadelphia, PA and transplanted to Charleston, SC. John Shields and Kevin Shields (of no known relation) comprise the charismatic two-piece as an “interchangeable, indispensable pair in limbo between rapper and singer-songwriter.” 2015 saw the band’s formation followed quickly by their first full length release, Buddha the Beast.Recorded in Philadelphia and Charleston, Buddha the Beast offers a “mashup of electronic beats, surf-ready sounds, and hip-hop…each song is an experience all its own.”

What started as a side-project quickly moved into the forefront as the duo’s chemistry on stage and in the studio sparked a unified vision. Prior to Little Stranger, both Shields and Shields fronted their own bands that would go on to share the stage with other notable acts such as Slightly Stoopid, Del the Funky Homosapien, Steel Pulse, Grace Potter, The Heavy Pets, and John Brown’s Body. With years of on-stage experience between them, Little Stranger bring an energy and freestyle approach to each live show, paying mind to the importance of keeping every performance fresh and unique.

With influences from artists such as Beck, Gorillaz, and Outkast, Little Stranger combine melodic songwriting with hip-hop-inspired lyricism and production, creating a sound that slips into your subconscious after one listen!

D.Lynch
Dan Byelich aka “D Lynch”, is a versatile and influential artist from Philadelphia, PA. His influences include Nas, Jay-Z, and Mos-Def. The inspiration for subject matter he references is derived from his experience’s, as well as the experience’s of those close to him. The work being produced now, until eternity will only showcase high-class respect for hip hop; those who made it, and those who love it. Never one to brag in discussion, Dan is a believer in letting the music relay the message first, then opening up the forum for questions. He is one of the last to truly take responsibility for his lyrics, and use them to make the listener think, smile, cry, and most importantly, live better.
“D Lynch” is now quickly emerging as the best underground hip hop artist emerging from Pennsylvania. Beginning a new trend of music, “D Lynch” has visions to sustain those around him with his accomplishments and success. An aspiration to serve others keeps him vigilant in pressing forward into his thriving future. Now connecting with the right individuals who can take his artistry to the top, Daniel is certainly on the fast track to becoming extremely successful.
